Best Duck Video Ever

In 2011, University of Oregon broke away from traditional admissions recruiting by sending a customized, creative video via email to 78,000 prospective students. Sockeye produced a personalized video “starring” each prospective student as the new “Duck” on campus. Throughout the video, personalization moments appear showing the prospective student’s name. This fresh, cutting-edge collegiate recruiting technique yielded impressive results for the UO, like, an 8.5% click-through rate, nearly 1,300 social media shares and an average page visit time of 7:50 minutes, almost double the video's length.
