We’re stoked to be a part of three awesome events at this year’s Design Week Portland, and we’d love to see some friendly faces. This is where we’ll be — hope you’ll be there too!
A panel featuring five West Coast women who are killing the game in their industries. They’ll share their trials, tribulations and tips on how to make the transition from personal studio to professional practice.

Parking around here is a drag, so we recommend taking public transit or biking. Also, there will be beer.
Like TED talks on speed, PechaKucha Nights fit a whole lot of good ideas into a tiny amount of time. Come drink a whiskey drink (or a vodka drink) and hear from some of Portland’s finest, including Sockeye’s resident everything-guru Thom Walters.

DJ Aquaman will play a live set, too. After last year’s Christmas party, we can vouch for his ability to slay on the dance floor. Beats best served with tequila.
Wanna see the future? This guy’s got you covered. Piers Fawkes of PSFK is an expert trend predictor and a leader in retail strategy. He’ll use Wildfang’s rad new Westside space as a canvas to explore fashion and retail as he presents PSFK’s insights on designing the new shopper experience in 2016. He’s taking questions after, but don’t ask about the future of your love life. That’s not his thing.
